The questions we get most.
Everything we get asked most often about how projects work, what's included, and what happens after handoff. Don't see yours? Just ask.
Are you a managed service provider (MSP)?
No. We design and build your infrastructure, document everything, and hand it over — you own the hardware, licenses and docs. Ongoing support is available if you want it, but it's never required and you're never locked into a monthly contract.
What areas do you serve?
We provide on-site design and commissioning across Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Remote design work and cloud projects can extend beyond that footprint — ask us.
How does pricing work?
Projects are fixed-scope. The prices on our Packages page are starting points for design and installation labor; hardware is spec'd to your site and purchased at cost plus a flat sourcing fee, and you see the itemized invoice. Final scope is confirmed after a free consult call.
Do I have to buy the hardware through you?
No. We're vendor-neutral and spec the right gear for your needs, not a brand quota. We can source it at cost for convenience, or you can purchase it yourself — the design is yours either way.
What happens after the project is done?
You get full documentation, labeled cabling, and every credential — the system is yours to run or to hand to any technician. Each package includes a post-install support window, and you can add an extended support retainer month-to-month.
Can you work with our existing equipment?
Usually, yes. Discovery starts by mapping what you already have. We reuse what makes sense and only recommend replacing gear when it's genuinely holding you back.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope, but most small-office builds move from discovery to handoff in a few weeks. We give you a clear timeline with the design, before any work starts.
What does a free consult call involve?
A short, no-obligation call to understand your current setup, goals and constraints. If it's a fit, we follow up with a documented design and fixed scope. No sales pressure.
